The Complete Polytunnel Course - Spring/Summer/Autumn workshops- Revised

Early produce, gardening all year round and growing tender crops are the most important reasons for protected cropping.  The workshops are designed to guide you through the year enabling youto make the best and most efficient use of your polytunnel and harvest lots of produce.  Benefit from the experience of more than 10 years of polytunnel growing at the Organic Centre.

Course days may be booked individually but please note that there is a €35 saving when you book all three days together. 3 days €190, 1 day €75

Spring Workshop, Saturday March 24 (CPL1)

• Erecting a Polytunnel
• Preparing, planning and sowing for the year
• Layout of a tunnel
• Harvesting overwintering salads

Summer Workshop, Saturday June 16 (CPL2)

• Maintenance in the summer
• Ventilation, watering, pests and diseases
• Planting out
• Special summer crops, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, basil.

Autumn Workshop, Saturday September 1 (CPL3)

• Management during the autumn and winter
• Side shooting
• Harvesting
• Planning and sowing for winter crops
• Revision on layout and tour of Organic Centre's polytunnels
