The Complete Organic Garden Course- Revised 6 days over 6 months

Although designed as a whole series, an individual day can be taken by those who wish to focus on a particular topic, although a saving of €79 is made if all 6 days are booked together.  This course has been newly designed so that participants can follow the growing season from February with monthly sessions of what to do in the garden and be well on their way to successfully growing their own by June, with a further day in September to revise what has been learnt and advice on what to do with harvest.

All courses run from 10am-4.30pm, 1 day €79. 6 days €395.

Day 1, Wednesday, February 16 (WCG1)

Ground Preparation, how to build a lazy bed, green manures, soil and composting.

Day 2, Wednesday March 16 (WCG2)

Rotation, seed sowing, early planting, growing in polytunnels and tools.

Day 3, Wednesday April 13 (WCG 3)

Weed control, spring planting and companion plants, pricking out

Day 4, Wednesday May 18 (WCG4)

Growing in polytunnels, planting tender crops, hardening off, pests and diseases.

Day 5, Wednesday June 15 (WCG5)

Growing herbs and salads,  propagation, filling the hungry gap, container growing.

Day 6, Wednesday Sept 21 (WCG6)

Follow up on previous days, what to do with harvest, storing and processing vegetables and fruit, seed saving.
