Turnip Top Mizuna is a fine Japanese cabbage leaf and has a loose crop with pinnate, light-green leaves with a little vein. It can withstand some degrees frost. It is a typical spring vegetable. The plants bolter very early during summer. The leaves can turn yellow when given too little fertilization. You can eat the yellow leaves. This variety is excellent for stews or raw consumption in a salad.
Popular salad leaf with good flavour. Strong growing and fairly hardy for year round use.
