Kohlrabi Delicatesse Blue gives nice blue purple tubers with white fruit flesh. Kohlrabi is a fast growing crop with a lovely taste and can be eaten both cooked as raw (in crudités). Do not let the tubes become to old or too big before consumption, because the tubers become “woody” at the bottom. Kohlrabi can be sown early, as it is not that sensitive to bolting. Transplanting should always occur in a young stadium. Moreover, Kohlrabi requires good fertilization.
