Peppers

There are two main types of peppers, the sweet pepper and the hot-flavoured chilli pepper. In Ireland, peppers can only be grown under cover. Sow seeds in March at 21degrees centigrade, 6mm deep. Transplant into 9cm pots when large enought to handle. Plant when 10-13 cm high or when first flowers are showing. Spacing: 38-45cm each way.
