Traditional Mexican tomatillo variety with 3-5cm large tomato like fruits in light green lampions. The tomatillos, which ripen from green to purple, taste from sour to sweet and spicy depending on their degree of ripeness. The ideal base for hot salsa sauces flavoured with chilli and coriander.
