Introduction to Permaculture: Saturday 11th April 2026- Sunday 12th April- 10am-4pm.

Our permaculture course will teach both design techniques and the "thinking " needed to create environmently productive places.
We use the processes and patterns of woodlands, which are hundreds of times more productive than any agriculture, as a"General purpose engineering platform " to place useful components into landscapes.
You will leave with the ethical basis and design principles of Permaculture, the basis for planning ecological designs at home or in community.
Philip Allen is a forester and grower with a city and guilds in organic gardening and a permaculture designers certificate.
He has taught permaculture design since 1992 , and has worked on a city farm in Belfast.
