This is a course for beginners starting out growing vegetables.

Topics covered: Basic principles of organic gardening. How to assess your site and soil to choose optimal spot for growing. Bed preparation, soil fertility management, crop planning and principles of crop rotation.

Practical sessions will entail a hand assessment of soil, essential tools to get started and a seed sowing session with sowings to take home.

Tea/Coffee and Treats upon arrival. Complimentary Soup and Bread at Lunchtime
